In 1978 Paul's parents gave him the opportunity, at the age of 14, to try clamming as his summer job and not with the family business. They were a little shocked he lasted the entire season and it was an amazing life lesson; You can't save for a dirt bike when you have to pay for gas and lunch!. In 1982 Paul set off to the University of Southern Maine to study Forestry and Oceanography. The following year he came home to help with the family lumber business and finish school with evening classes at Hofstra University. Shortly after he, and his lovely wife Jeanne, purchased the business. At the age of 54 Paul sold the business and decided it was time to learn the marine industry. In the past seven years Paul has sold new boats and yachts but, has spent most of his efforts building a brokerage book of clients. Paul has always had boats of his own and his family of four spent many of their weekends exploring the Northeast by water. Keep an eye out for him, he is making offers on his next boat as we type!
